10 BEST TRAVEL GUIDE:
Danish food in the land of Art Deco and neon lights? Why not! A hotspot no matter what time of year it is, Fleming serves up traditional dishes in an invitingly upscale setting. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location or the reasonable prices - this is Continental dining at its finest. The menu features such Danoise delights as braised duck, pan-seared salmon, and divine bread pudding. Reservations are strongly recommended on the weekends, but you can expect to wait regardless.
REALTYWORLDMIAMI:
Fleming a taste of Denmark Always mentioned with the words "Excellent Food"! Wonderful service consistently. If you want to impress there is no place more reliable...and the dessert selection will keep you impressed as well.
BEST OF THE BEST MIAMI:
This "Danish/Continental hotspot always seems to be crowded, and the wonderful, and authentic Danish cuisine along with their more moderate prices are certainly part of the reason for this restaurant's success. The desserts are worth the trip with their incredible bread pudding always on the list of Miami's best.

Fleming, A Taste of Denmark, is a rarity: a gourmet restaurant at reasonable prices. Diners start with a relish tray, the entrees come with a fine Ceasar salad and soup.
Entrees are varied using salmon, tuna, dolphin, poultry and beef as the foundations of some delectable, well sized portions. My favorite entree is the salmon baked in philo dough.
The wine list is extensive enough and reasonably priced with a decent house selection available by the glass as well as champagne to start ones dining experience.
Desserts are exceptional, as fine made and presented as can be found anywhere. No wedding cake made by Fleming would be left over for the bride and groom to keep for the next year as the guests would consume it all.
Parking is free, safe and convenient. None of the tackiness of forced expensive valet parking which does not even include the tip for the valet. Most nights the restaurant is full and therefore reservations are prudent, but the beautiful thing is that the reservations are honored. If you have a reservation for 8:30, you can expect to have a table at that time, which is unusual for fine dining establishment in Miami-Dade County.
Dress is fashionable. Suits for men are not out of place, but not the norm. Women dress up.
Food:
The restaurant is for those that appreciate fine dining without the feeling that they were not fed enough. Desserts are not to be missed. If you are full, share one with your dining partners (no charge).

Flemings is a local secret because it is not out in the street front and you wouldn't know it was there by driving by. But the locals know where it is. You have to call ahead to make a reservation to be insure a seat but it is worth the wait. It has a quaint atmosphere perfect for a celebration. The food is great and the dessert selection is just unreal. I heard about it through a friend and have not met a person yet who has a negative thing to say about it. The food is like that of a fine continental and danish variety. You have to check it out to believe it.

Great Dining Experience! Posted by christopherkoch on 08/25/2003
This is a place where you can expect fine foods prepared and presented in a manner that makes you feel good about every moment of your dining experience. If you are really not sure what to order from the large menu, don't hesitate to ask Cheff Larry what he recommends. He has never let us down.

Always consistent Posted by sugarnspice10172 on 05/10/2004
This place has changed hands but it still remains a constant in providing excellent quality for a reasonable price. I enjoyed the banana/snapper, but everything I have tasted is wonderful. In today's overpriced restaurants I am surprised that their prices have remained fairly low.
Pros: great food, attentive service
